Sotto Canedicoda troviamo una personalità con forte attitudine all’artigianato grafico e musicale. In Canedicoda la comunicazione puo’ assumere infinite forme derivate da contaminazioni trasversali. La ricerca di Canedicoda non è sicuramente unidirezionale. Stampa serigrafica di pezzi unici ed in tirature limitate, producendo collezioni personali di grafiche e t-shirt o collaborazioni per Netmage Festival, 8mm records, Von Archives, Dumb Skateboards, Bastard, Marsèll e Marsèll-Goccia, Replay e tanti gruppi musicali e tante altre cose. La sua esperienza sonora comincia con il gruppo With Love per poi arrivare a WW, Lago Morto, Canzone Macabra, Magic Towers, Ninos du Brasil, Fantamatres o il progetto in solo come Ottaven.

Gli propongo di “scattargli” cinque istantanee
per mettere a fuoco il suo senso di artigianato serigrafico e musicale.
Attitudine. L’autoproduzione e l’unicità delle tue creazioni da che urgenza nascono?
Fisica. E’ un bisogno fisico. Ho necessità di fare. E’ sopravvivenza, ricerca e piacere. Di fondo c’è gran bisogno di stare bene. Io vorrei tendere a questo: stare bene.
Riconoscibilità. In che territori ti sei mosso per trovare il tuo stile personale sia graficamente che musicalmente?
A scuola, una delle cose piu’ interessanti che avevo scoperto era il pansofismo. Io cerco dappertutto e sono goloso. E’ strano, mi sento molto critico ma anche disponibile. Cerco, sono sempre alla ricerca di cose che mi facciano stare bene.
Ricerca. Il tuo linguaggio, che cattura le pulsioni in tempo reale, nasce comunque da una metodologia?
Sì. Sento di essere pignolo, astrattamente pignolo.
Luogo. Hai uno spazio ben definito, laboratorio, residenza dove lavori?
Ora vivo e ho uno studio a Vittorio Veneto, dove condivido momenti ed avventure con Nico Vascellari, Matteo di Second Sleep e tutte le persone che ci vengono a trovare a Codalunga, il nostro quartier generale, dove tanto spesso accade. Il mio studio personale è nel verde, tra i monti, vicino a laghi e un fiume molto freddo. Poi si viaggia e ci si carica o scarica di input. Ma a casa mi posso concentrare.
Direzione. Come è nata, si è sviluppata e dove ti sta portando la collaborazione con la Fondazione Claudio Buziol e Replay? Progetti prossimi in cantiere?
Andavo a tutte le loro inaugurazioni e bevevo finche non svenivo. E’ un atteggiamento produttivo, edificante e sano. Ora man mano che si presentano occasioni interessanti ci si riincontra e si lavora. A breve andrò in Inghilterra ed Irlanda con Replay per delle performance. Io insisto, non ho fretta e proseguo passo passo. Ho preparato due nuove collezioni che porterò in Giappone e ne sto organizzando gli shooting con Alan Chies, ho dei dischi nuovi in uscita, un libro fatto assieme alla mia ragazza che non vedo l’ora di aver pronto, prototipi nuovi per Marsèll, ho delle divise in cantiere per Aucan ed Inzaire, altri shooting quindi, un tour ad aprile con Kam Hassah e Claudio Rocchetti, un viaggio in Costarica con il mio amico Nico, il sito da risistemare, la Three Days Of Struggle 4 e Codalunga, un progetto a Roma, insomma.. la lista è lunga!
