Antonello Piccinino, vive e lavora a Lanciano come graphic designer, illustratore e graffiti writer. Nel corso degli anni ha prodotto svariate opere murali in Italia e all’estero, partecipando a mostre ed eventi internazionali di writing, il suo primo graffito l’ha realizzato nel 1993 firmandolo come Macs, lo pseudonimo che continua tuttora ad essere il suo nome d’arte.
Indipendentemente dalla sua tecnica che spazia dalla matita, all’acrilico, al digitale, fino ad arrivare allo spray, Macs ha il grande talento di possedere una cifra stilistica ben riconoscibile.
Il suo segno declinato al disegno, allo studio del lettering al fumetto e al fotorealismo grazie ad un’innato senso pittorico, lancia messaggi chiari, dai muri della città, ai cabinotti elettrici, fino ad arrivare alla tela. E’ uno dei più noti e rappresentativi realizzatori di characters in italia e all’estero, grazie al suo lettering, semplice ma al tempo stesso elaborato, ed ai suoi personaggi a volte seri, a volte buffi e irrimediabilmente sarcastici, che raccontano un po’ tutto ciò che sente, che vive e che lo circonda.
